Mobile App Redesign for Factoring Management

Worked closely with the product owner, stakeholders, and the development team to align on goals and implement effective solutions. Partnered with the support department to ensure the redesign addressed the most common user issues.
Factorfox’s mobile app, a critical tool for truck drivers to manage their factoring paperwork, faced significant usability challenges. The outdated app structure made navigation confusing, and the unclear user flows led to frequent calls to the support center. Truck drivers, already juggling demanding schedules, needed a simpler and more intuitive solution to upload paperwork seamlessly.
We began the redesign by conducting user-centered research to identify key issues. Our team worked closely with the Factorfox support department to understand the most common pain points reported by users like Jake. Internal usability testing helped us validate these insights and identify opportunities to enhance the app’s usability.
Using Figma as our primary design tool, we restructured the app to simplify navigation and make user flows more intuitive. For example, the process of uploading paperwork was streamlined to reduce the number of steps and ensure clarity at every stage. Interactive prototypes were developed to test these improvements, allowing us to gather feedback and iterate quickly.
Collaboration was key to the project’s success. We worked hand-in-hand with the product owner, key stakeholders, and the development team to ensure that the redesign aligned with business goals while addressing user needs. Regular check-ins and prototype reviews helped maintain alignment throughout the process.
